Darwin's findings have been used by minds to validate meanings that are wished to be true.
The missing ingredient to adaption of species is intelligence. This intelligence obviously is not in the brain of any individual entity - such as we presume to exist in our own. Intelligence is a non-local field - that is - it is the Mind in which and of which all things are expressions.
I read once that Darwin was spurred in his research by an abhorrence of slavery, and sought to demonstrate the equality of humanity as one family.
I see the oneness of all life as demonstrated by the findings of science - but I do not see the willingness to embrace this experientially. On the contrary, I see an intent to control and manipulate life for personal gain.
The divorce of such a mind from the heart's intuitive discernment is professionalized in scientific discipline - and as a tool has usefulness, but the adoption of such a split mind as an identity, is that of mechanizing (and manipulating) a joyless and meaningless substitute for Life.
This divorce is not actual, the 'separate' mind depends on its source to persist, even though it only can seem to exist via an act of denial.
Hence the 'search for truth' can allow the persistence of a mentality of overlay - of surface tensions - in which the actuality of truth is implicitly denied its true communication and nature.
This sense of sourceless self is then 'free' to make its own meanings and definitions - and to exploit the Natural Being as its rightful domain or resource.
But we are never sourceless. We are expressions of Intelligence beyond our power to define, manipulate or control - but not beyond our power to accept, to embrace, and to trust as the Movement of awakened Being; of unified being.
Let there be light (awareness) and let the light know itself God! - That is, let the recognition of self-awareness be unadulterated and unlimited feeling of being.
There is an addition of noise that 'creates' levels of meanings, but it is not random in intent or effect. The wish or desire that truth be different than it is, operates as a mind in its own experience. But it is a virtual reality because it is founded on 'as if'. There is no self-apart.
Know Thyself is not a private matter, but is the underlying purpose and nature of being. We cannot change the law of being but in accepting a self of our own definition, concept or image, we 'go forth and multiply a mind of division, conflict, struggle, suffering, sickness and death.
Mind is not fixed and cannot be fixed (though our attempts to manipulate the world are a displacement of such intent) - but whatever we are teaching (validating as thoughts), brings true feedback. So to behold and see that it is not good! - is a dissonance of being that can be used to release the presumption of independence and control and be restored to a True Nature that we never have not been.
We all share One Mind, whether knowingly or not. When the qualities of one-mindedness are absent, we do well to question our experience by resting the mind and locating willingness.
